Synopsis
Joe accidently kills Burk Shannon and is remorseful. When he finds out that Burk’s wife, Hallie thinks he did it on purpose so that they can be together, he is even more at a loss. Burk’s identical twin brother Boothe arrives, and immediately accuses Joe of murder, giving the evidence to the sheriff. Things take a turn for the worse when Hallie is found dead. Boothe is convinced that Joe is to blame for both deaths and vows he will do all he can to make sure the youngest Cartwright goes to the gallows.

Synopsis
The Cartwrights’ cousin, Muley Jones returns to the Ponderosa and this time around he has brought a pack of hound dogs with him. Hoss gets the idea that the dogs can be trained to hunt coyotes and sets about doing it, with the help of Cousin Muley. However, Hoss soon finds out he has gotten more than he bargained for.
